Position Summary:
The RN Clinic Allergy provides comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving allergy evaluation treatment and follow-up services within the clinic setting. This role supports providers by conducting patient assessments administering treatments preparing care plans and monitoring patient responses to allergy testing and immunotherapy. Working collaboratively with physicians and clinic team members the RN helps ensure care is delivered safely accurately and in accordance with clinical protocols regulatory requirements and organizational policies. The position functions within a supportive specialty-focused clinic environment where communication and teamwork are essential to effective care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments administer allergy-related treatments such as injections or testing and monitor patients for adverse reactions in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare exam rooms assist with procedures and maintain clinical supplies to support efficient clinic workflow and infection-prevention standards.
- Document patient assessments treatments and outcomes promptly and accurately within the electronic health record.
- Provide patient education on allergy management medication use environmental triggers and follow-up care to support self-management and safety.
- Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to coordinate appointments testing schedules and care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Support satellite clinics as required ensuring continuity of allergy services across Trinity Health locations.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
- CPR required within orientation period.
- Ongoing Point of Care certifications as required for department required within orientation period.
Educational Requirements:
- RN program as evidenced by licensure.
- BSN preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- One year or more of professional nursing experience preferred.
- Clinic experience preferred.
- Coding experience preferred.
Special Skills or Training Requirements:
- May include travel to satellites.
- Computer use.
