As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rounds in Minneapolis MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations support staff and visitors and contribute to a caring people-first culture built on agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite staff patients visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of clinical office warehouse and/or perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity unsecured doors and/or hazards with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas assist with visitor management and badge checks and help to support compliance with location rules for restricted spaces such as labs and/or medication areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation requesting assistance and coordinating with onsite leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation communicate observations to supervisors and/or client representatives and assist with security-related investigations by preserving information and reporting concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
