We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong basic testing knowledge a good understanding of the software testing lifecycle and the ability to ensure product quality through effective test planning and execution.

Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams
Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of web and/or application-based systems

Design write and execute test cases test scenarios and test plans

Identify document and track defects using defect management tools

Perform regression functional integration and smoke testing

Develop and execute automation test scripts for selected test cases

Collaborate with developers product owners and business teams to clarify requirements

Participate in requirement reviews and provide test estimations

Ensure quality standards are met before production releases

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience in manual testing and automation testing

Strong basic testing knowledge (SDLC STLC test case design techniques)

Understanding of functional regression and system testing

Experience with automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright TestNG etc. any one)

Knowledge of defect tracking tools (JIRA Azure DevOps or similar)

Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and documentation skills

Experience in API testing (Postman Rest Assured etc.)

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

Basic programming knowledge (Java Python JavaScript etc.)

Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
