Medical Assistant
Location: Newnan GA 30265
Contract Duration: 10 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Work Type: On-site
Pay Rate: Up to $24 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a busy healthcare clinic. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care clinical procedures and daily operations while maintaining high standards of patient service and care.
This role requires experience with both front-office and back-office responsibilities as well as phlebotomy and primary care support.
Key Responsibilities
Support front-office and back-office clinic operations
Perform phlebotomy and blood draws as required
Assist with patient intake vital signs and exam room preparation
Support physicians and clinical staff during patient visits
Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
Assist with preventive and primary care services
Ensure smooth clinic workflow and patient care coordination
Required Qualifications
23 years of Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare experience
Experience in both clinical and administrative duties
Phlebotomy / blood draw experience
BLS or CPR Certification
Experience working in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a primary care clinic
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
