Job Posting: Elementary School Social WorkerLocation: Cape Cod Massachusetts Position Type: Full-Time Start Date: September 1 2026Position OverviewThe Truro Central School a close-knit and community-oriented elementary school on Cape Cod is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary School Social Worker to support the social emotional and behavioral well-being of students in grades PK6. The ideal candidate values collaboration relationship-building and a whole-child approach within a rural school ResponsibilitiesSupport students with social-emotional learning attendance concerns behavioral challenges and family-related stressorsDeliver high quality evidence-based social-emotional curriculum Function as an advocate for children and provide direct services to students and their families in a one-to-one relationship as well as in groupsParticipates as a member of the schools leadership team and works toward making the school and community more sensitive to problems within the school population.
