This position reports to:
Senior Production Engineering SpecialistThe work model for the role is: Onsite Mebane NC
Your role and responsibilities:
- Oversees execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment production lines and/or facilities.
- Defines maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities and consults on ways to improve reliability maintainability and safety of equipment and/or facilities in collaboration with the Engineering team.
- Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment production lines and/or facilities.
- Solves major technical equipment or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
- Maintains tools and repairs equipment in good working condition.
- Proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
- Responds to emergencies breakdowns malfunctions and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment demonstrating knowledge of production workflows and safety practices.
- Proven ability to identify recommend and support improvements in manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Hands-on custom design and production experience including working with specialized or fabricated components.
- Practical welding experience with the ability to perform basic to intermediate welding tasks safely and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
- Knowledge and use of tools tape measure calipers grinders or other hand tools as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job as needed
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 40lbs
