Were looking for a Compliance & Risk Executive to support our General Counsel team in delivering key regulatory obligations across the firm. This role can be based in Aberdeen Edinburgh or Glasgow and we welcome applications from candidates looking for either full-time or part-time hours (minimum four days per week). Its a great opportunity to join a growing function that plays an increasingly important role in supporting the business.
In this role youll help maintain effective governance processes support colleagues in meeting regulatory requirements and liaise with external suppliers and insurers where required. Working closely with teams across the firm both fee earning and in business service youll gain valuable insight into how different areas of the business operate.
The role offers a wide variety of responsibilities from supporting compliance processes and assisting with contract-related matters to managing and developing our supplier database. Youll also act as a key internal contact helping colleagues navigate regulatory requirements while ensuring the organisation continues to operate responsibly. As the role evolves there may also be opportunities to contribute to wider responsible business initiatives.
Were looking for someone who is proactive organised and eager to build a career in compliance and risk. Strong administrative and coordination skills are essential along with confidence reviewing documentation and contracts. Experience within a corporate or professional services environment would be beneficial. A positive attitude strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and be involved in a wide variety of projects and tasks will be key to success in this role. On the job training and support will be provided.
