L3 Application Support Engineer
Reporting to: Head of Technology
Location: Metamorfosis Athens
We are seeking a skilled and motivated L3 Application Support Engineer to join our Technology this role you will be responsible for developing and supporting internal and client-facing software applications ensuring the design quality and reliability of our solutions through rigorous QA testing and assessment procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Serve as the primary Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) of IoT Application Solutions contributing to solution design and offering
Assume end-to-end accountability for software service requests. Execute root-cause analysis and implement direct code-level resolutions to system issues.
Handle L2 and L3 software support requests and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues efficiently
Orchestrate and facilitate User Operational Testing (UOT) phases in collaboration with key stakeholders to validate system integrity performance and operational readiness prior to production release
Author and systematically maintain rigorous technical documentation encompassing system architectures API endpoint specifications and operational workflows for all newly developed and modified solutions
Main Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or a closely related field.
3 years of experience in a software engineering application support or DevOps role
Proven hands-on programming experience (C#) and a strong understanding of relational databases. Experience with RESTful APIs and version control (e.g. Git) is highly preferred
Knowledge and experience of workflow-based systems (e.g. Zoho) will be considered an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide top-notch customer support
Enthusiasm for staying updated with the latest industry developments and eagerness to bring innovative solutions to the organization
Proficiency in English
