Teacher of Chemistry (Part Time) Redbridge Outstanding School

We are seeking a high-calibre Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving and successful Science department in the heart of Woodford. This position is available from April 2026 until July with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. This is a part-time role required Wednesday to Friday and involves teaching GCSE Triple Chemistry A-Level Chemistry and a selection of Combined Science and KS3 Science classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-calibre Chemistry lessons to GCSE Triple and A-Level students

• Foster a love for scientific inquiry across KS3 and Combined Science groups

• Utilise the schools diverse curriculum to provide students with pathways toward their chosen careers

• Maintain exceptional standards of behaviour and academic rigour in the classroom

• Collaborate with a team of permanent subject specialists to drive Pride in Achievement

Qualifications and Experience

• QTS and a degree in Chemistry or a closely related Science discipline

• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 5 (A-Level)

• Ability to work effectively within a large ethnically diverse and successful school community

• High standards of professional conduct and a commitment to inclusive education

• Must have the right to work in the UK

• Salary Range: 37868 to 56154 (M1 - UPS3 Pro-rata for 3 days)
