We coordinate assistance for Nordic travelers and with the help of our global network of medical providers and partners we assist 24/7 365 in everything from minor travel-related incidents to complex medical emergencies.

Role Overview
The IT department delivers technology services to Viking Assistance Group. We are seeking a Software developer who will deliver programming services to Vikings IT applications in line with best practice established architectural principles and secure coding. The role reports to the Group CTO. Work location is in our office in Torrevieja Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver code to ongoing or new projects in Viking

• Be part of a development team that delivers critical applications to Vikings extensive network and operations
  

Qualifications

• Relevant IT education with focus on object-oriented programming or Java.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React Node JS)

• Knowledge of GDPR data governance and data security

• Knowledge of Viking and Vikings core business

• Preferably experience from Operations or IT Support

• Proficient working in English or Scandinavian language

• A clean criminal record is a prerequisite
