Your Job

At Sparteo we believe that efficiency is the key to unlocking massive growth. Were looking for a talented Automation Engineer to join our team and become the central pillar of our internal process automation.

You will be the architect and builder of the systems that make our business run smoother faster and smarter. By leveraging your technical skills you will design and implement robust automation workflows that have a direct impact on our Sales Operations and Product teams. If you love solving complex problems with technology and are an expert with tools like n8n this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1 n8n Workflow & Automation Design

• Design build and maintain complex production-ready automation workflows using our core platform n8n.

• Architect robust systems that orchestrate processes from trigger to outcome ensuring process isolation and efficient data handoffs.

• Establish and own the technical foundation for our automations ensuring they are scalable reliable and well-documented.

2 API & Systems Integration

• Develop and manage integrations with external APIs (e.g. OpenAI Google Workspace data providers) and internal services to create seamless automation flows.

• Connect disparate systems to ensure data flows correctly and efficiently throughout our entire operational stack.

• Maintain clear and actionable API and workflow documentation to support scalability and team collaboration.

3 AI-Enhanced Workflow Engineering

• Integrate OpenAI and other LLM APIs into automation pipelines for sophisticated use cases like data enrichment classification and content generation.

• Implement strategies to optimize LLM usage including caching pre-processing and smart prompting.

• Leverage AI not just for outputs but as an intelligent operational tool embedded within our core automation stack.

4 Cross-Team Collaboration & Enablement

• Work closely with Product Sales and Operations to map their pain points and deliver high-impact automated solutions.

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable automation projects.

• Act as Sparteos technical reference for automation promoting best practices and empowering other teams.

n8n as a Core Stack Tool You will be pivotal in defining how Sparteo leverages no-code/low-code at an advanced production-ready level.

High-Impact Automation Youll architect services that run silently but powerfully behind the scenes to accelerate sales reduce manual ops and improve lead generation.

Ownership & Structure Take full ownership of our automation architecture bringing much-needed structure and scalability to our core business processes.

What You Bring

• You have 2-3 years of experience in a technical role such as Automation Engineer Technical Operations or Backend Developer.

• You have deep hands-on expertise with n8n or similar automation platforms (e.g. Make/Integromat Zapier at an advanced level) and a passion for building sophisticated workflows.

• You possess a strong technical foundation with a solid understanding of APIs (REST) webhooks and data structures (JSON).

• You are a natural problem-solver with a structured and analytical mindset capable of breaking down complex processes into logical automated steps.

• You are an excellent communicator and enjoy working cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• You are proactive autonomous and driven to create a tangible impact on business operations.

• You are fluent in both French and English.

Even better if you have...

• Experience with HubSpot CRM particularly its APIs and automation features.

• Knowledge of a scripting language like Python or JavaScript/.

• A previous experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
