Lead Carpenter (Division 10) (HOUSTON AREA)
Schedule: MondayFriday 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
Company Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter with Division 10 experience to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to grow into a Supervisor position. Our company primarily works with local school districts and offers long-term stability and growth opportunities.
Position Summary
The Leadman will begin working at the shop and gradually transition into the field. Responsibilities will start with small jobs punch lists installations and scheduling with increasing leadership responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
- Perform Division 10 installations and carpentry work
- Handle punch list items and small job assignments
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating projects
- Lead crew members on assigned jobs
- Ensure work meets company and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team and clients
- Growth opportunity to Supervisor role
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter (Division 10 required)
- Leadership experience preferred (Leadman level)
- Clean background and clean driving record (required)
- English required; bilingual is a plus
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred (payroll & OSHA 10 courses offered if needed)
- TWIC card is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation (mileage/gas reimbursed for project travel)
