Job Summary

Clarity is recruiting aPharmacy Technicianfor a busy pharmacy based inAthlone Co. Westmeath!

What you need to know:
This is a 6-month maternity cover role starting in May 2026. It is a full-time position across 4 days per week with every second Saturday required. There are no late nights Sundays or bank holiday shifts. Youll be supported by a strong and experienced team helping you manage a steady flow of customers. The MPS dispensing system is used in store.

What youll be doing:

Assisting in the dispensary
Answering phone calls responding to inquiries or requests
Preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients
Managing and monitoring the prescribed dosages
Taking care of paperwork and monthly claims (if needed)
Providing excellent customer service
Any other duties as required

What were looking for:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
Good time management
Passion for the delivery of excellent customer service

What we require:

Higher certificate in Irish Pharmacy Technician studies; IPU course.
Previous experience working in Ireland as a pharmacy technician

Salary is negotiable and based on experience!
