MalaceHR is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support electrical construction and commissioning activities for our client Scholes Electric and Communications. This role will assist with quality assurance documentation management inspections and commissioning support on a data center construction project.
The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable coordinating with multiple teams including subcontractors project managers and third-party testing partners.
Key Responsibilities
Attend daily QA/QC meetings and assist with tracking project quality milestones.
Coordinate with project teams to schedule inspections and testing activities.
Support required Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during testing and commissioning phases.
Assist in the development and documentation of Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
Coordinate with project leadership on electrical energization schedules.
Review and upload required QA/QC documentation and third-party testing reports into Procore.
Maintain and manage project documentation including:
Receipt Inspection Forms
Torque and Megger test sheets
NETA testing documentation
Level 2 site test reports
FOD inspections (when required)
Perform equipment audits and random inspections during delivery and installation.
Track and manage quality-related issues in Procore ensuring timely resolution with subcontractors.
Coordinate meetings and establish communication protocols to resolve project issues efficiently.
Required Qualifications
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
02 years of experience in an administrative operational support or construction support role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Basic understanding of customer service and professional communication principles.
Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and auditing processes.
Experience or exposure to data center operations commissioning or construction environments.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
