OVERVIEW

GTN is seeking a Project Manager Data Center Operations & Infrastructure to support the planning coordination and execution of highly visible infrastructure and operational initiatives within a large-scale data center campus in Spartanburg SC.

This role will collaborate closely with internal teams external partners and vendors to drive disciplined project execution across infrastructure design construction and operational initiatives. The Project Manager will oversee project governance stakeholder communication risk management and change management processes to ensure projects are delivered on schedule within scope and aligned with operational objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership experience in data center industrial infrastructure or mission-critical environments and possesses exceptional organizational communication and stakeholder management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership & Execution

Lead projects supporting data center infrastructure design build and operational initiatives
Manage project scope schedules budgets and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
Monitor overall project health including critical path dependencies milestones risks and schedule variances
Ensure consistent adherence to project management lifecycle frameworks governance standards and phase gate processes

Project Planning & Documentation

Develop and maintain project management artifacts including project charters scope documentation requirements detailed project plans and budgets
Coordinate stakeholder approvals change requests and project communications
Track project success metrics and report on overall project performance

Cross-Functional Coordination

Partner with engineering operations infrastructure and vendor teams to ensure coordinated execution of project activities
Identify and resolve resource constraints or conflicts across multiple project initiatives
Lead cross-functional problem solving to resolve issues quickly and maintain project momentum

Risk Management & Governance

Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to reduce operational or delivery impacts
Maintain risk registers and provide governance reporting to leadership
Support change control processes to ensure appropriate review and approval of scope schedule or cost changes

Quality Assurance & Delivery

Ensure quality across project deliverables through QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
Validate solutions prior to operational deployment and transition to support teams
Lead project closeout activities including documentation lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives

Stakeholder Communication

Build strong working relationships with internal teams external partners and vendors
Provide clear consistent project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
Facilitate project meetings reviews and post-implementation assessments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 7 years of project management experience within data center industrial infrastructure or mission-critical environments
Experience managing multi-vendor or outsourced project environments
Strong organizational analytical and executive communication skills
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex operational environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership abilities
Proficiency in project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile frameworks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management Professional (PMP) PgMP ITIL or similar certification
Experience supporting infrastructure or operational initiatives within data center or mission-critical environments
Familiarity with project governance frameworks change management processes and risk management reporting
