SALARY: $15 per hour
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday after school hours
SUMMARY
The PAL Coach is responsible for implementing and supervising activities designed to meet the interest and physical ability of each student.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list represents the types of duties required by the position. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably expected.
Demonstrate teach and play a variety of sporting activities with class/ league participants.
Plan lessons for class.
Prepare manage and maintain weekly camper paperwork and materials needed for camper.
Report incidents and concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Be willing to contribute ideas to the supervisor.
Collect manage and return the equipment in good working condition.
Ensure the students are engaged in activities and at all times.
Maintain a positive connection with all support staff at your site.
Work to help provide a safe learning environment.
Attend all program meetings.
Work to increase the numbers at your site.
Share your passion for working with youth. Make your students smile.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must wear South Bend Police Athletic League attire.
Begin your class on time each day and plan activities for the duration of the session.
Responsible for turning in timecards.
Assumes and performs additional responsibilities as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must have general knowledge of a variety of sporting activities.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED
Enjoy working with youth and participants ages 7-adult.
Ability to work alongside Police Officers.
Ability to deal effectively with the public. Ability to effectively supervise youth and groups ages 7 to adult.
Ability to demonstrate good communication skills. Be direct in dealing with others.
Ability to be upbeat and energetic throughout each lesson.
Ability to work a minimum of 5 hours a day.
Ability to stand for up to 5 hours at a time.

The noise level at the facility can be quiet moderate to loud. The employee will be exposed to various weather conditions.
