Job Title: Glove OperativeWe are looking for a Glove Operative to join our growing team in is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours a week on dayshift. Rate of pay for this role is 13.08 per hour increasing to 13.45 in May training will be provided but if you have experience in this role or something similar your expertise will be highly valued and the RoleYou will be -Examining and pulling in any loose threads turn the glove to prepare for next the cuff of glove inserting appropriate wash care glove on carousel selecting appropriate frame size for quality of glove then pass on for rectification or to next processPair up and bag gloves in accordance with customer instructions then pack into boxes for despatchAbout youYou will - have the ability to carefully and accurately follow detailed written instructionstake pride in doing a job well and never compromise on high standardscommunicate well with colleagues and be an enthusiastic and supportive team memberhave excellent colour visionhave previous experience operating machineryAbout UsFounded in 1797 Johnstons of Elgin is an innovative luxury clothing brand celebrating 225 years of experience in working with the worlds finest fibres.
