Fire Technician -
About the Role:
We are seeking a Fire Technician to join our team in Calgary AB. This is a full-time on-site position responsible for the inspection maintenance and servicing of fire protection and life safety equipment to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining fire safety systems troubleshooting equipment issues and delivering reliable service to clients while ensuring all work meets industry and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect test maintain and service fire extinguishers fire suppression systems and other life safety equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure all systems comply with applicable codes and standards including NFPA 10 NFPA 17A and NFPA 96.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of inspections and maintenance activities.
Perform additional safety system services such as hose testing system inspections and related safety checks.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding system status service requirements and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of safety quality and service delivery.

Qualifications:
Experience in fire extinguisher inspection maintenance and servicing.
Knowledge of life safety systems and fire safety regulations.
Hands-on experience with fire suppression systems and related safety equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
Relevant fire safety or suppression system certifications are considered an asset.
Physical ability to handle equipment and work in different environments and conditions.
Experience in fire extinguisher inspection maintenance and servicing.
Knowledge of life safety systems and fire safety regulations.
Hands-on experience with fire suppression systems and related safety equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
Relevant fire safety or suppression system certifications are considered an asset.
Physical ability to handle equipment and work in different environments and conditions.
