Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infusion Therapy RN with specialized experience in chemotherapy administration. The RN will provide safe high-quality care in an infusion clinic setting supporting oncology patients through treatment and education. This role requires acute nursing expertise attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within the oncology care team.
Key Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies according to established protocols and physician orders.

Monitor patient responses during and after infusion treatments identifying and managing adverse reactions.

Provide patient education regarding therapy side effect management and self-care techniques.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments assessments and patient progress in the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Collaborate with oncologists pharmacists and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Assist in preparation and verification of chemotherapy medications adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout treatment.
-
Float to other Medical-Surgical or Critical Care units as needed.
Work Schedule
Minimum Requirements

Current California RN license
-
Minimum of 4 years of acute nursing experience in an oncology setting

Recent experience in an infusion clinic

Chemotherapy certification with recent chemotherapy administration experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience with EPIC EMR system required
