Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator based in Columbus OH. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC-R projects by analyzing project requirements blueprints and specifications. The role includes coordinating with project managers vendors and other stakeholders to ensure thorough and competitive bids. Additional responsibilities include identifying cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality and preparing detailed project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

Experience in cost estimating pricing and financial analysis for HVAC mechanical systems or similar fields
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints project plans and technical documents
Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with team members vendors and clients
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field is preferred
Prior experience in the HVAC or mechanical contracting industry is a plus
