Job Summary

Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Durham NC/ Hybrid (Preferred Locals from NC)

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Develop enhance and maintain SAP ABAP programs across multiple SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA).
Work onsite with business users and functional consultants to gather requirements and clarify technical needs.
Design code test and debug ABAP objects including:
- Reports (Classical & ALV)
- Interfaces (IDocs RFCs BAPIs)
- Enhancements (User Exits BADIs Enhancement Framework)
- Forms (SmartForms Adobe Forms)
- OData services
Support integration with other SAP and non SAP systems.
Participate in code reviews performance tuning and quality assurance activities.
Provide production support troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Document technical specifications test scripts and deployment steps.

Required Skills & Experience

5 8 years of hands on SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture data structures and integration points.
Experience with ABAP OO CDS Views AMDP and modern ABAP practices (preferred for S/4HANA environments).
Solid experience with interfaces enhancements and forms.
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders in an onsite environment.
Strong analytical debugging and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with S/4HANA development.
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development (bonus).
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
Prior experience supporting manufacturing supply chain or finance processes (if relevant to your client).
