Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support financial operations within a growing laboratory services environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions ensuring compliance with financial reporting policies and managing the month-end close process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background leadership experience and the ability to analyze business processes and financial data to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee accounting operations related to laboratory services.

Review and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with GAAP SOX and internal financial reporting policies.

Lead and mentor accounting staff while maintaining strong internal controls.

Analyze financial data and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial objectives.

Prepare and review financial reports and ensure accuracy of accounting records.

Utilize advanced Excel and Microsoft Office tools to support reporting and analysis.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance

Experience reviewing and managing month-end close processes

Strong analytical business process and data analysis skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications

CPA or Masters in Accounting (MAcc)

Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Understanding of relational databases

SQL query writing skills

Prior experience in healthcare or laboratory services accounting
