At least a Bachelors degree in STEM field with preference given to fields related to a core area of FIRB cybersecurity and technology interest.
WORK EXPERIENCE MANDATORY
- May substitute at least 10 years of work experience in telecommunications network development and deployment cybersecurity controls/system implementation and/or complex IT infrastructure design and deployment for the bachelors degree.
- At least 8 years of work experience in telecommunications network development and deployment cybersecurity controls/system implementation and/or complex IT infrastructure design and deployment or other related fields dependent on approval through the COR.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent cybersecurity and technology and/or financially focused research and analysis.
- Demonstrated analytic writing and communication ability.
- Possess TS/SCI clearance prior to starting work.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (General Description)
Provide technical expertise in telecommunications networks cybersecurity systems and complex IT infrastructure to support FIRB case reviews and investigations. Conduct research and technical analysis to identify cybersecurity and technology vulnerabilities associated with foreign investment transactions affecting U.S. national security and critical infrastructure. Assess risks related to network architecture telecommunications systems data security and supply chain technologies and support the development of mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities. Review technical materials cybersecurity assessments and related documentation to evaluate potential impacts and provide analytic input into risk evaluations and case reports. Contribute to the preparation of written products and briefings that communicate technical findings and recommendations to government stakeholders involved in foreign investment risk reviews.
