Job Summary
Responsibilities And Duties
- Install maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems up to 480V.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters ohm meters and other diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors drives and MCCs.
- Troubleshoot and repair VFDs and motor control circuits.
- Install calibrate and maintain instrumentation.
- Perform loop checks instrument calibrations and verification of control system functionality.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an I&E technician controls technician automation technician or similar role.
- Experience working with industrial PLCs HMIs sensors and instrumentation.
- Proficiency with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols preferred.
- Experience with robotics preferred.
- Electrical and instrumentation systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams P&IDs loop drawings technical manuals and ladder logic.
- Ability to assemble troubleshoot and repair complex automated machines.
- Familiarity with PLCs VFDs sensors transmitters and control loops.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills including electromechanical assemblies.
