Job Description:
The primary responsibilities include designing developing and testing electrical components equipment and systems for small robots and other ground-based vehicles according to customer requirements. Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Conducts research to produce design solutions improvements and new products. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures to junior engineer. Reports to a manager and works with Tech Lead. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.

Key Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs electrical equipment facilities components products and systems for commercial industrial and domestic purposes.
Designs tests and determines fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment and determines methods procedures and conditions for testing products.
Develops applications of controls instruments and systems for new commercial domestic and industrial uses.
Ensures that manufacturing construction installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
Coordinates operation maintenance and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Maintains regular study habits by frequently reviewing emerging technologies that improve the design development and testing of software programming and applications and applies technologies learned

What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in EDA tools
Proficient skills with analog/digital circuit design.
Lead DFMEA process.
Proficient in functional safety analysis.
Has good communication skills.
Good team member.
Has some leadership skills.
