The Role

As a Hindi Bilingual Content Moderator you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe respectful and inclusive environment on a global location-based social networking platform designed for LGBTQ adults. The platform enables users to connect with others nearby through GPS-enabled discovery features messaging and profile interactions.

In this role you will review user-generated content enforce Community Guidelines and ensure that all activity aligns with the platforms safety integrity and inclusion standards.

This position requires strong judgment high attention to detail and the ability to process a high volume of content efficiently using internal moderation tools and backend systems.

Important Note:
This role involves daily exposure to potentially explicit offensive or disturbing content including sexual content nudity harassment violence drug-related material discrimination and other sensitive themes. Candidates must be comfortable working in such an environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Review and moderate user profiles text messages images and videos for policy compliance
  • Enforce Community Guidelines and Safety Policies consistently across all moderation queues
  • Identify and take action against inappropriate behavior harassment impersonation scams and harmful content
  • Suspend restrict or ban user accounts when necessary while documenting detailed rationale in internal systems
  • Participate in policy calibration sessions and moderation reviews with management and policy teams
  • Identify emerging safety trends new abusive patterns or prohibited language within the community
  • Report backend system issues moderation tool discrepancies or workflow improvements to Team Leads
  • Support the onboarding and training of new moderators when required
  • Manage escalated moderation cases and sensitive content reviews
  • Provide language-specific moderation support for Hindi-language content queues

What We Expect From You:

  • Fluency in Hindi and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong understanding of and respect for LGBTQ communities and inclusive environments
  • High level of professionalism confidentiality and ethical judgment
  • Ability to analyze content quickly and make consistent policy-based decisions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under high-volume workflows
  • Comfortable working with mobile applications moderation tools and backend systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving policies moderation frameworks and safety guidelines
  • Organized structured and process-oriented working style
  • Experience in content moderation trust & safety or online community management is preferred
