Job Overview:

The role of the informatics team is to lead breakthrough innovations that will unlock the power of this data to help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies bring the miracles of medicine to the people in need faster and more efficiently

Working in a highly collaborative environment you will help drive product innovation and work with internal and external engineering teams to launch data-enabled capabilities and service offerings

As a data analyst you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand organizational data and work towards improving our organizational landscape. You will analyze complex data sets identify the trends and issues prepare and present solution proposals draft mapping documentation and communicate your findings to stakeholders. You will help evolve the data platform to support business needs organizational initiatives and advance data analytics capabilities.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Analyze complex datasets identify trends and issues
Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Optimize the performance of queries.
Implement data quality and validation checks to ensure reliable data delivery.
Author and maintain clear and up-to-date documentation.
Provide clean and concise presentations on findings
Develop and execute test cases that confirm data quality and usability
Collaborate with a team of data engineers and architects to review and recommend solutions that achieve project goals.
Partner with stakeholders across application groups to understand data needs.
Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

Bachelors degree in computer science data science data engineering or related field.
5 year of experience working with data in analytical reporting or engineering projects.
Experience with SQL Python or other data programming languages.
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data challenges.
Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

Experience (Minimum Required):

5 to 7 years of experience working with data in analytical reporting or engineering projects
5 years of experience in SQL Python languages SCALA and Azure Fabric
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data challenges

Preferred Qualifications Include:

Bachelors degree in computer science data science data engineering or a related field
Understanding of clinical data (e.g. SDTM CDISC standards EDC systems)
