Job Summary

The Level 1 IT Technician provides first-line technical support to staff students and administrators. This role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware software and classroom technology issues while ensuring excellent customer service. The Level 1 Technician will also support the setup and maintenance of student and staff devices and assist with inventory management. This position works collaboratively with teachers and administrators to ensure that all classroom technologies are fully supported and operating with maximum efficiency. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated determined to find timely solutions and possess a strong aptitude for learning new technical and Duties: (to include but not limited to)Serve as the first point of contact for technology support resolving requests in a timely and professional troubleshoot and perform component-level repairs on all School utilized devicesMust be proficient in the Google Admin ConsolePossess working knowledge of Windows IOS Apple TV and Mac Operating in maintaining an up-to-date hardware hands-on hardware and software support to users across the common device software and peripheral problems training and in-field support to staff to improve their understanding and utilization of with setting up and configuring student and staff device accounts across various instructional in the installation configuration and rollout of new equipment and technology RequirementsA degree in Information Systems or a technology-related disciplinePrior Experience in help desk or support service in an educational environment (In lieu of a technical degree in the field).Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education Microsoft Office and common classroom technology.A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving with an ability to gel with the team and maintain a service-oriented demeanor.
