Job Summary
Job Description
- Gathering and documenting best possible medication histories (BPMHs)
- Opportunity to participate in pharmacy department clinical sharing peer teaching and learning as well as job shadowing of clinical pharmacists.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize limitation of scope of practice
- Other duties as assigned.
- One year of an accredited University Pharmacy Program essential (two years preferred) and in good standing
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills: communication teamwork
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others.
- Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Healths Commitment to Caring.
- Models behaviour that is aligned with the values of Mackenzie Health Excellence Leadership and Empathy.
- Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for staff and clients within a challenging and exciting health care environment.
- Previous related pharmacy experience an asset
- Previous related experience in a health care environment an asset.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
