Job Summary

Grade 1 teacher

Living Waters Christian Academy requires a 1.0 FTE temporary grade 1 generalist teacher. The successful candidate should have the ability to teach a variety of subjects. Flexibility and willingness to contribute to the accomplishment of the mission of the school is a must. The teacher should be passionate about developing students academic skills and knowledge infused with protestant evangelical values and biblical truth.

Position is for the 2026/2027 school year with the possibility of an extension.

Teachers at Living Waters must be Alberta certified or able to attain their certification and have demonstrated exceptional teaching ability. They must be passionately devoted to Christ and regular attenders at a Bible believing protestant evangelical church. Experience is required. Candidates must meet the General Policies and Procedures related to employment including the faithful and wholehearted adherence to the statement of faith and the philosophy of education of the school. General policies require staff members children to attend Living Waters Christian Academy.

Salary is based on TQS level and years of teaching experience. Salary and benefits are excellent.
