As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Route in Fort Wayne IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic construction location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license supporting mobile patrols and timely response to alarms and site activity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including building interiors perimeter areas and active work zones as conditions vary by post.
• Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitor and vehicle traffic verifying identification and/or authorization and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols incidents and unusual observations and communicate pertinent information to the Allied Universal supervision team and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
