Beer Server | Seasonal Part-Time |LA County Fair

The Beer Server is responsible for providing fast friendly and professional beer service to guests during the LA County Fair. This role includes serving beer verifying guest identification handling transactions and maintaining a clean and organized service area. The Beer Server ensures responsible alcohol service while creating a positive guest experience in a fast-paced high-volume event environment.

This is a seasonal role from April 6th 2026 and will end on May 31st 2026.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $17.27 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until May 31 2026.

The LA County Fair is a large annual event held at Fairplex in Pomona featuring food vendors entertainment and attractions. It is a fast-paced high-volume environment that requires strong organization and teamwork to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.

• Responsible for serving guests beer in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in customer service.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner ensuring guests satisfaction and exceeding their expectations.
• Acknowledge all guests anticipate Guests needs and respond promptly to guests.
• Entering and completing guests orders on a point-of-sale computer system accepting various types of payment.
• Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s).
• Responsibly serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with Company Federal State and local policies procedures regulations and laws.
• Working in a team environment with the ability to be team player.
• Responsible for completing an accurate closing inventory of product.
• Assures and maintains cleanliness of bar and surrounding area throughout the day assures the area is operable.
• Maintain sanitation health and safety standards in work.
• Responsible for checking IDS of guest prior to serving making sure each guest is of age to purchase alcohol with a valid Id.
• Refusing to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age and or have expired ID.
• Follow companys guidelines for serving any beer in appropriate cup size.
• Restock area as required.
• Set up and breakdown of beer stand.

• 2 years of experience in a full- service restaurant or beer server in a similar level of volume with knowledge of beer.
• Must have RBS Alcohol Certificate that is required by State Law.
• Must have CA Food Handlers Certificate that is required by State Law.
• Take pride in personal appearance; reporting to work in neat and clean clothing; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by Company policy.
• Must have knowledge of various beers and spirits.
• Must maintain excellent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work on time work long hours if needed. (Must be available to workThusrday - Sunday).
• Ability to work in a Team-Orientated environment.
