The Role:
- Lead daytoday purchasing activity managing suppliers and securing best value across mechanical hydraulic electrical and fabricated components.
- Oversee stock control and replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent production delays.
- Analyse purchasing supplier and inventory data to drive improvements and reduce supply chain risk.
The Person:
- 35 years experience in procurement / buying (minimum 3 years in a buying role) ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong systems capability confident using ERP platforms and interpreting procurement and production data.
- Commercially astute detailfocused and comfortable working crossfunctionally with engineering planning and production teams.
