Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Wynnewood OK you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Monitor and control access through gates and entry points by verifying identification and authorization issuing and collecting badges maintaining visitor and contractor logs and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating updates to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas administrative spaces and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity documenting observations per policy.
- Perform vehicle and delivery screening as required including checking documentation observing restricted items guidance and reporting discrepancies through established security-related reporting channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
