Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto / 12 Volt Electrician to join our team in Long Beach MS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with 12-volt electrical systems on heavy equipment and automotive systems including the ability to build and repair custom wiring harnesses.
This role requires the ability to diagnose repair and maintain electrical mechanical and hydraulic components while ensuring all work is completed safely and to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will be comfortable using diagnostic tools reading schematics and blueprints troubleshooting complex electrical issues and fabricating wiring harnesses for equipment and vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair 12-volt electrical systems on heavy equipment and vehicles.
Build repair and install custom wiring harnesses for equipment and vehicle electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and hydraulic system issues.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify system failures.
Read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Perform routine maintenance including inspections electrical checks and system testing.
Install repair and maintain wiring connectors relays switches and other electrical components.
Work with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of jobs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
Stay current with industry technology diagnostic tools and repair methods.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician 12 Volt Technician or Auto Electrician.
Strong knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and wiring.
Experience building or repairing wiring harnesses.
Ability to read wiring diagrams schematics and blueprints.
Experience using diagnostic tools meters and power tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on heavy equipment or fleet vehicles.
Familiarity with NEC standards for electrical work.
Experience installing or repairing aftermarket electrical systems..
Formal training or certification in automotive or electrical systems.
