YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our global automotive team. As Backend Developer you will be responsible for implementing features for critical application environments for industry leaders in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Develop and maintain web applications using Java Spring and Spring Boot.
Database Management: Work with Oracle Databases writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database interactions.
Deployment & Server Management: Deploy and manage applications on WebSphere Liberty Server ensuring stability and performance.
Code Quality & CI/CD: Maintain high-quality code using GitHub Maven and IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse) following best practices for version control and build automation.

YOUR PROFILE

Technical expertise: Strong proficiency in Java (8) including Java EE
Experience with Java Application Server technology preferrable with Open Liberty or IBM WebSphere
Experience with Websocket technology
Experience with Docker
Experience working with Oracle
Development & CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control Maven for build automation Artifactory SonarQube and IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse
Strong analytical communication and organizational abilities. Easy to work with.
Experience with our relevant business domain (Automotive industry). Familiarity with IT process frameworks SCRUM ITIL.
