As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecological care ensuring the health and well-being of women throughout their reproductive years. You will collaborate with a skilled team of medical professionals to manage patient care conduct examinations and develop treatment plans that align with best practices in womens health.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices
- Participate in patient education and counseling
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of Washington
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing diverse patient cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a) 3 days per week
Setting:Inpatient and Outpatient
Level I Nursery
Patient Volume: 2-5 per day
Duties: Vaginal deliveries c-sections triage if required ED consults and GYN surgeries as necessary
Support Staff: L&D RNs CNMs FPOBs X-ray tech MA RN LPN/LVN lab tech
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
