As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive womens health services including prenatal care labor and delivery and gynecological surgeries. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients while ensuring compliance with the highest standards of medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Manage prenatal and postnatal care
- Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and patient-focused approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Willingness to commit to a flexible contract schedule
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Census: 20 patients
Procedures: Vaginal deliveries c-sections circumcisions hysteroscopies hysterectomies ovarian cystectomies D&C etc.
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
