Summary:
Under the direction of the System Principal of Curriculum and Assessment the Learning Partner will work with assigned school administrators and teachers to develop implement and support School Improvement Plan as well as planning for and delivering UCDSB system and Ministry initiatives in support of the Student Achievement Plan. Learning Partners will build educator capacity to support student achievement equity well-being and engagement for all students. The Learning Partner position is intended to build capacity in the system by supporting teachers and administrators in clusters of schools and sharing the acquired learning while in this role and upon return to their home school.
Responsibilities:
Support schools in the implementation and monitoring of SI P goals with a focus on Literacy Numeracy Well-being and Equity connected to SAP goals.
Implement and support Ministry of Education initiatives including but not limited to Structured Literacy Renewed Math Strategy FSL Early Learning Equity Indigenous Education Special Education Student Success Building the Workforce of Tomorrow Re-engagement Career-Life Planning Innovation Creativity and Entrepreneurship and Apprenticeships.
Work with other Learning Partners to co-plan facilitate and support system wide professional learning experiences and initiatives.
Co-facilitate school learning teams under the direction of the school principal.
Co-plan and co-teach with classroom educators and Special Education Teachers.
Assist teachers in implementing high impact learning practices that directly impact student learning and engagement.
Co-plan and co-organize learning opportunities for students.
