Covia is looking for a dynamicDryer/Screen Operatorwho will have a positive impact on our team at ourEmmett ID location. As a Dryer/Screen Operator you will operator the dry plant monitoring screens loading rail cars and keeping the dry plant area clean and safe.

The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
Assist with additional maintenance projects as needed
Perform and document daily safety checks on heavy equipment and area inspections
General housekeeping of the plant
Perform all duties in a safe manner following all safety regulations and safe work practices
Perform quality control tests on products prior final shipment
Maintain positive communication daily with other shift(s) regarding production quality and general plant performance
Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work with normal supervision
Communication skills
Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Basic mechanical skills
Basic knowledge of testing procedures
Prior forklift or mobile equipment experience
