Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)
What Youll Do (Responsibilities): DesignIndustrial Layouts for vehicle manufacturing processes supplyingmaterialsand building installations and utilities.able to work independently but with leadership and specialistsmentoring inlayouts development of supporting areas (maintenance areas offices toilets restaurants common areas warehouses of indirect partsetc) material areas (storage SPSs Repacking) and productive areas cells and lines with impact on production for all Shops (Press Body Paint Polymers and GA).
- Support Layout Specialist/Engineer in scanning works in the manufacturing areas with Laser Scanner equipment and accessories.
- Implement automation solutions in material handling process (receiving storage sequencing kitting delivering)
- Register clean and reference Cloud of Points usingsoftwares.
- DevelopGVDP left sidesolutions(planning and development phase)withGPSC (logistic and containerization) ME Centers Product DevelopmentManufacturingOperationsand CCA peers to improve total enterprise efficiency mitigatingimpactandoptimizeoverall performanceofmanufacturing process
- Seeknew technologiesand implement ME process improvementsaligned to virtualization initiatives.
- Capture information and measures in the Plants and elaborate As Built layouts in 3D for all kind of Process and areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree completed in Engineering
- Knowledge ofAutocad2D and 3D Factory Cad Auto-TurnNaviswork NX Cloud of PointsSoftwares.
- Experience as a CADengineer including settingobjectives managing results and evaluating individual performance
- Demonstrated understanding of plant floor and product designmanufacturability
- Manufacturingand/or GPSC (Supply Chain) assignments with successful individual achievements.
- English from intermediate level
- Availability to travel and eventual weekend demands;
- Active CREA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish is desirable
