Publican (Venue Manager) Finsbury Hotel
Were not just looking for a Venue Manager were on the hunt for a REAL Publican someone who lives and breathes hospitality leads from the front and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.
The Finsbury Hotel is located on Hanson Road in Woodville North. Weve been serving locals for years and continue to offer something for everyone. Our Sports Bar has live sport broadcasting on our screens so guests will never miss a moment of the action. Our friendly staff are pouring ice cold beer and cider plus a range of wine and spirits - our guests are sure to find something theyll love to sip on.
In addition to our friendly Sports Bar The Finsbury Hotel also offers modern and affordable accommodation at our Nightcap Hotel. Just steps away from the Sports Bar accommodation guests have access to all the facilities at The Finsbury Hotel.
Salary: From $92000 superannuation bonus
A day in the life of a Publican:
- You know the locals by name they reckon youre one of their own all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
- You run the place like its your own modern-day home keeping things safe smooth and compliant.
- Youre the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
- You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
- You bring the vibe the service and the smiles every shift every day.
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
You already know if this is for you. Youve got the experience the presence and the pride it takes to own a pub like its been yours forever. Youre not just running a venue - youre living the Publican life.
Hold current industry RSA RSG and RP Badge qualifications as per SA state requirements
