As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Patrols in Pacheco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas tank farms loading and unloading zones administrative areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification verifying authorizations and documenting visitor vendor and vehicle activity per site requirements.
- Complete routine reports and shift documentation including patrol logs and incident reports and communicate status updates to supervisors and site representatives as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
- An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
