Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Driver Rover in Pleasanton CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is an unarmed driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will stay highly visible respond to calls for service and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer-focused assistance backed by a caring people-first team that acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas amenities parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor alarms cameras and other systems and report unusual conditions maintenance concerns and/or security-related issues through established communication channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting evacuations medical response coordination and/or other emergency activities as directed.
- Complete detailed patrol logs incident reports and shift turnover notes and coordinate with onsite teams and/or local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years of security experience is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
