Role Overview
The Solution Architect Modern Workplace is responsible for designing leading and governing end-to-end Modern Workplace solutions that enhance employee experience productivity and operational efficiency. This role blends strong architectural governance with hands-on solution design across Service Desk Field Services Intelligent Collaboration Digital Experience (DEX) and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
The architect will work closely with sales delivery and operational teams to translate business needs into scalable secure and innovative workplace solutions aligned with enterprise standards and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Leadership
Lead Modern Workplace architecture initiatives ensuring alignment with business objectives architectural standards and delivery timelines.
Own end-to-end solution design across Service Desk Field Services collaboration platforms endpoint management and digital employee experience.
Collaborate with other solution and domain architects to deliver integrated cross-tower solutions (Workplace Cloud Security Network Applications).
Define evolve and enforce Modern Workplace architectural standards patterns and reference architectures.
Modern Workplace Capabilities
Architect and optimize Service Desk and Field Services models including:
ITSM/ITOM integration
Automation self-service and ticket deflection
Shift-left strategies and on-site support optimization
Design Intelligent Collaboration solutions leveraging:
Microsoft Teams (calling meetings collaboration room systems)
SharePoint Online OneDrive Viva and integrated productivity experiences
Lead Microsoft 365 architecture including:
Identity and access (Entra ID / Azure AD)
Endpoint management (Intune Autopilot)
Security and compliance (Purview Defender)
Incorporate DEX platforms analytics and experience monitoring to improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
Technical Governance & Advisory
Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to resolve complex design and integration challenges.
Evaluate recommend and position emerging technologies (AI-powered support Copilot automation RPA AIOps) that improve efficiency and business value.
Ensure solutions meet security compliance scalability and resiliency requirements in enterprise environments.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including clients executives and delivery teams.
Support RFPs proposals and client presentations with clear value propositions and solution narratives.
Oversee solution delivery milestones track progress and ensure architectural integrity through implementation.
