Serves as the primary point of contact for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House ensuring a safe supportive and wellcoordinated environment throughout their stay.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as the primary family liaison ensuring effective communication and maintaining positive relationships with families.
- Coordinates guest services leading front desk functions scheduling liaison operations and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families.
- Collaborates with hospital social workers nursing staff and other partners to coordinate family needs and ensure continuity between hospital and House resources.
- Manages documentation and reporting processing referrals entering guest records and creating reports.
- Oversees the intern program and supports liaison team assisting with onboarding and training.
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.
Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills friendly compassionate and able to relate to diverse groups of people.
- Excellent problem-solving skills judgment and ability to keep a level-head in stressful situations.
- Self-motivated dependable and ability to multi-task.
- Effective attention to detail and computer skills.
Experience:
Experience using computer systems to compile and monitor written and statistical reports preferred.
Physical Requirements:
OCCASIONALLY: Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs Standing Walking
FREQUENTLY: Computer skills Decision Making Hand use: grasping gripping turning Problem solving Repetitive hand/arm use
