Wage Range: $26.44 - $28.50 (start rate is non-negotiable and in accordance with collective agreement requirements)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Days / Evenings
Status: Permanent Full Time

Position Summary:
The Support Partner is a valuable member of our team playing a critical role in assisting direct patient caregivers and managing the Clinics functionality.
Duties:
- Provides assistance to direct patient caregivers through the performance of specific activities related to the maintenance of the Clinic including: cleaning disinfecting and sterilizing instruments
- transporting instruments and medical devices to and from MDRD; setting up clinic areas; turn over exam rooms and treatment areas
- Assisting clinical staff with patient related activities;
- Assisting clinical staff during Code Medical Emergency;
- Acting as a chaperone during patient intimate examinations
- Setting up clinic areas;
- Transporting X-rays charts etc.
- Patients support activities
- Environmental support activities
- Transportation support activities
- Other duties directly related with the proper maintenance of the Clinic
Qualifications :
- Completion of a secondary school diploma program
- Experience with housekeeping portering and/or unit aide
- Evidence of ability to lift heavy objects
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Evidence of good independent initiative
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Good organization and time management skills
- Previous Hospital experience
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment preferred
