This role works closely with the Director of F&B Outlet Managers and other hotel departments to assist with guest enquiries outlet reservations group bookings financial administration and menu management. The coordinator ensures smooth communication between departments accurate financial documentation and efficient handling of guest requests while also supporting outlet operations when required.
What you will be doing:
- Provide administrative support to all F&B outlets including Bistro Suzette Cuvee Prive In Room Dining and Minibar.
- Handle guest enquiries related to restaurants and bars including reservations group dining requests and special dining arrangements.
- Coordinate group dining enquiries for outlets including arranging site visits confirming menus with the kitchen organising pre payments and creating PM accounts where required.
- Assist with logistical arrangements for outlet group bookings including menu printing guest communication and coordination with relevant hotel departments.
- Assist the Director of F&B and outlet managers with menu management including editing formatting and printing menus when required.
- Support menu engineering processes and assist with preparation of F&B cost analysis and menu performance reports.
- Prepare the daily F&B finance pack ensuring all dockets invoices and documentation are correctly signed and submitted.
- Work closely with the finance team to investigate and resolve guest charge disputes related to F&B outlets.
- Assist with replying to guest feedback and online reviews related to F&B experiences.
- Maintain accurate records for F&B operations including event documentation menu updates and administrative reports.
- Improve communication and coordination between the F&B department and other hotel departments including Sales Front Office Finance and Kitchen.
Qualifications :
You will excel in this role if you have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage operations hospitality administration or guest service.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Experience handling guest enquiries and coordinating bookings or events is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of restaurant and bar operations within a hotel environment.
- Experience with POS systems (Micros preferred) and hotel operational systems is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple hotel departments.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- A Food Handler certificate and awareness of food safety practices.
- Customer service experience in a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
- The aptitude and willingness to undertake further development within the Sofitel brand.
