Software |AWS- ContractPerm Mid Senior

We are seeking multiple skilled Full Stack Engineersat both Mid and Senior levelsto help design build and optimise the next generation of our products. Youll work across a modern technology stack microservices cloudnative platforms and robust DevOps practices to deliver solutions that create meaningful impact across transport and mobility networks.

This role offers variety collaboration and the opportunity to contribute to a highperforming product team using agile ways of working.

What Youll Do

Working closely with a Product Manager Engineering Lead and an agile product team youll help deliver highquality valuable features each sprint. Youll contribute to the design development and maintenance of fullstack solutionsfrom backend microservices and APIs to contemporary frontend user interfaces.

Youll apply bestpractice engineering techniques including secure development peer code reviews automated testing and CI/CDdriven delivery. You will also support technical investigations helping assess tradeoffs and contribute recommendations that guide sound engineering decisions.

Your work will include:

• microservices and distributed system components aligned with our technical reference architecture 
• Developing clean accessible and highperformance UIs using modern frontend frameworks.
• Contributing to automated testing across unit integration and endtoend layers to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Supporting product rollouts troubleshooting issues and assisting with deployments to ensure seamless delivery to customers.
• Participating in design discussions documentation and knowledgesharing activities that contribute to the uplift of engineering capability.

MidLevel Engineers

Midlevel engineers will focus on delivering highquality features within a supportive team environment.

You will:

• Work closely with Senior Engineers and Leads to understand design patterns and architectural decisions.
• Take ownership of welldefined components and tasks.
• Contribute to code quality testing and team best practices.
• Grow your technical depth while learning more complex systemlevel concepts over time.

Senior Engineers

Senior Engineers will bring deeper experience in building scalable systems and will:

• Lead technical design for features or services while being hands on.
• Provide guidance mentoring and technical support to midlevel and junior engineers.
• Drive improvements in engineering standards testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute significantly to architectural discussions and longterm technical direction.

Essential:

• Prior experience in a software product environment using Scrum DevOps and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency in C#  for building microservices and business logic.
• Experience with AWS core services
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) orchestration (Kubernetes) and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ Redis) is desirable.
• Familiarity with REST JSON and modern API patterns; exposure to gRPC or Protobuf is a plus.
• Experience with git-based workflows CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab.
• Comfortable in both Windows and Linux development environments.

Desirable:

• Understanding of observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana).
• Experience with micro frontends component libraries or design systems.
• AWS or Microsoft certifications.
