THE POSITION:
Under general supervision to transport infants and minorchildren juvenile detainees and county wards by passenger car van bus orother public transportation; to be responsible for their safety and care; andto perform related duties as required.
Positions in this classification are found in the SocialServices Agency and the Probation Department. Most trips are within the BayArea Counties; however some assignments may be throughout the State ofCalifornia. Transportation Workers are not assigned any counseling functions.

Special Requirements:

A good driving record according to the Department of Motor Vehicles negligentoperator guidelines and qualification for automobile insurance.

License:
